There is nothing we ask of you, we are doing this purely out of the passion to help people understand that homeownership is not as impossible as they may think.
ABOUT US
We are John and Dalia. We met as freshmen in high school, became best friends, and have been together since we graduated and fell in love. At 17 years old John started an internship with a mortgage company and learned so much from his mentor, but at the time life was pulling him a different direction. At the age of 19 and 20, in 2019, we used what John’s time in that industry taught us and bought our first home.
As time went on, we gained a passion for exposing home-buying myths, and sharing how possible it is to buy a home. Over the years, John kept getting pulled back into the mortgage industry and we realized, this is where we are meant to be.
John is a poker dealer and a Mortgage Loan Officer with Approved Mortgage and Dalia is the Executive Director of a nonprofit called The N.O.W. Matters More Foundation that helps people on their journey to sobriety.
Now in 2026, we are enjoying two under two with our beautiful son and daughter, we have two dogs, five hens, and we enjoy our attempt at having a mini homestead while documenting it all on our family Instagram, @_raising_reyes_
